Relaxation, romance and
fabulous food are waiting for you at 5 Ojo Inn, a
Eureka Springs
Arkansas bed and breakfast. This upscale, historic bed
and breakfast is situated on a large one-acre wooded lot in
the heart of Eureka Springs, AR's historic district. The inn is on the
historic loop a short walk to downtown
restaurants, shops, galleries
and antique stores. Off-street parking is provided for all
of our guests. Innkeeper's Corner The leaves are falling! The leaves are falling! Nights in Eureka Springs are starting to dip down in temperature so bring your sweaters. We have noticed that as of the first week in October the tips of the leaves are just beginning to change color. You can tell we spend some relaxing and romantic time watching leaves change color and fall. What a life!! As we mentioned previously, the best time to view the fall colors in the Ozarks is during the week. It's a more leisurely pace giving you time to bask in the glorious pictures of nature. Sit on our decks with a refreshing drink and just watch the leaves change color before your eyes. Oh, and some exciting news, we are going to be grandparents again!! Yippee!! Upcoming Events: October 9-12 is the 40th Annual Ozark Creative Writers Conference. This conference provides a well-rounded agenda for writers of all levels and an excellent opportunity to network with fellow writers and editors. Social activities include a Thursday night informal reception, a Friday night banquet with entertainment and the final awards ceremony on Saturday night. October 16-19 is the War Eagle Antique and Craft Fair. If you haven't been, believe us when we say, "what a great place to see some great crafts". Be sure to bring your SUV because you'll probably find stuff you just can't live without. October 17-19 is the Early Bird Eagle Watch to welcome the bald eagles as they return to Beaver Lake for their fall and winter habitat. Enjoy spectacular fall foliage as experienced guides help spot the eagles and describe their features and habits. Cruise over 12 miles aboard Belle of the Ozarks seeing a dozen points of interest including a 200 acre game preserve island. Departure from Starkey Park at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. November 6-9 is the Annual Ozark Folk Festival. It's the oldest continual Folk Festival in North America...celebrating 61 years. November 7-8 experience this year's Food and Wine Festival. December 13 will be the Second Annual Sweet Treats Cookie Tour. Yummmm..... A great time to visit 12 B&Bs, eat some great cookies, do some Christmas Shopping, see some Christmas decoration and just have some plain old fun. Come join us!! Until next time........cheers
to you and your family. |
