It is almost Eureka Springs Indie Film Festival time with this year’s festival scheduled for April 23rd through the 25th, 2015. Formerly known as the Eureka Springs Winter Film Festival, Eureka Springs Indie Film Fest is always a great time!
Eureka Springs Indie Film Fest’s mission is to promote and encourage independent filmmakers of all stripes, both from Eureka Springs and beyond, as well as to celebrate those independent films that are not just entertaining but also inspirational and enlightening.
Held every year at the Aud – the historic city auditorium that was broken in in 1929 than none other than John Phillip Sousa – Eureka Springs Indie Film Festival also focuses on innovation and young filmmakers. This year’s new category reflects that: The Mobile Movies category is accepting films shot via GoPro, Drones, smart phones and pads!

Best in Cinematography
Best Producer and/or Director
Best Performance
Best Soundtrack
Best Young Filmmaker
Best of Show
Awards are given for Gold, Silver, and Bronze in these categories, along with a special award for Innovative Women in Film. Films are submitted to a panel of judges who base their decisions to include or exclude upon a film’s ability to inspire and entertain.
Eureka Springs Indie Film Festival Tickets
Tickets for the Eureka Springs Indie Film Festival can be purchased online and offer a couple of different choices: you may choose a three day pass for all screenings, panel discussions, and awards at the festival or you may select a one day pass for all events of a certain day. You also have the option of just cutting to the chase and attending the awards ceremony, only.
