The festivities begin in late November with Shop Small Saturday. This is a showcase of the town’s unique art, gifts, and one-of-a-kind collectibles. This is followed by the annual lighting of the Basin Park Christmas tree. From there, the holiday cheer continues all season long with parades, music, and sparkling lights throughout town.
When it’s time to ring in the New Year, Eureka Springs responds with the lively “Bash with a Splash” celebration.

Eureka Springs Tree Lighting Ceremony in Basin Spring Park – Nov 29, 5pm-5:30pm
Gather in historic Basin Spring Park for a good ole Christmas Tree lighting with a special visit from Fiddling Santa and his elves!
Christmas Parade of Lights – Dec 5, 6pm to 7pm
One of the state’s most popular night-time parade. Includes floats, walkers, bands, and thousands of lights. This year’s theme: Scrooge.
Christmas at the Inns Tour – Dec 6, 1pm to 5pm
You’re invited to tour some of Eureka’s most beautifully decorated and historic Lodging! Bed & breakfasts, boutique inns, and grand historic hotels offering holiday décor, treats, and festive cheer.
Opera in the Ozarks: Gifts from the Heart – Dec 12, 7:30pm – 9pm
A new, holiday-themed musical program combiing opera, song, and storytelling, created especially for this year.
Living Windows in Downtown Eureka – Dec 13, 5pm to 7pm
Live Christmas scenes acted out in downtown shop windows, along with Santa in the Park, carolers, and more!
New Year’s Eve: Bash with a Splash – Dec 31, 8pm to 2026
A Carnival-Style Parade, warm drinks and cocktails, and a variety of live bands until the grand finale—the iconic Water Drop at Midnight!
Holidays At The Aud
The Eureka Springs Auditorium – aka The Aud – is a beautiful, four-story limestone building on Main Street, just south of Basin Spring Park. Built in 1929, the historic performance space hosts a variety of events and attractions throughout the year. This is especially true around the holidays.

A musical journey to the meaning of Christmas featuring members that have performed with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Def Leppard, Alice Cooper and others.
The Nutcracker Sweets – November 29, 6pm – 8pm
