Whether you’re beginning to feel a spring fever or are just looking to set aside some space in your schedule, now is a great time to plan your Eureka Springs spring getaway!
There’s no bad time to visit Eureka Springs but springtime may be one of the better ones! Area weather in March and April is almost always beautiful. Despite this, the streets, shops, restaurants, and trails are not as crowded as they soon will be.
Consequently, a spring getaway to Eureka Springs offers a quieter, more intimate visit to the region. Don’t let that make you think you’ll be bored, though! The area’s always active enough to keep a body entertained, if that’s what you’re after.

Here in Eureka Springs we’ll be treated to, if not a total solar eclipse, the very next best thing. The moon will almost but not quite cover the sun, darkening the day with its shadow, and treating us to a rare and awesome natural spectacle.
The event will begin at 1:45pm local time and last until 2pm, when the moon’s shadow finally fades. 5 Ojo’s unique vantage atop the highest point within Eureka Springs city limits means unprecedented views of the unique phenomenon.
Attendance estimates for outside visitors for the eclipse are upwards of 180,000. If you hope to witness the event, we highly recommend booking now, if it’s not already too late!
